Primark has announced the opening date for its stores in North Wales - and released pictures on how they will look inside.

The store giant attracted big queues outside its shops when they opened in England last week.

Restrictions on non-essential shops were lifted in Wales on Monday as First Minister Mark Drakeford eased lockdown restrictions.

Primark says it has been preparing stores for reopening and will open shops in Llandudno, Wrexham and Broughton on Friday June 26.

They said they had extensive measures in place to help safeguard employees and customers.

How Primark will look

The company has released images of how the stores will look inside once they are open.

But bargain hunters have been told there will be no sales or special offers.

Primark CEO, Paul Marchant, said: “We have really missed our customers in Wales, and we are delighted to be back open, providing customers with the quality, affordable products they love from Primark.

“While it might take a little longer to get into store, once inside, customers will find all their favourite Primark products and plenty of choice as usual.

The company has released pictures giving shoppers a sneak peek

"We have worked hard to make sure that clear signage and extra help will be there to guide them through the changes we have made to allow for social distancing.

“We are also asking customers to respect the measures we have put in place to help ensure shopping at Primark is an enjoyable, safe experience for everyone.”
