No containment zones in UT now

CHANDIGARH: After nearly two months, the UT administration on Monday lifted sealing restrictions from pocket number 15 of Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26. This was the only containment area remaining in the city.
Out of 20 pockets in the colony, the UT had opened 19 except for a few affected houses.
Bapu Dham was declared an affected pocket in April 25 and on May 2, the administration had declared portions of it as containment zones and the remaining areas as buffer zones. On the basis of a report of the Affected Area Committee, UT administrator V P Singh Badnore on Monday decided to open pocket number 15. Restrictions were also lifted from affected houses of pocket numbers 7, 13 and 20.
