Mah health varsity to conduct mini convocation on June 30

Nagpur: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) is conducting additional (mini) convocation on June 30. This is to make sure that 11,000 plus health science students – right from degree, diploma, PG diploma to PhD - who completed internship should get degrees and MCI approval for practice so that more health care manpower will be available in state to fight Covid-19 outbreak.
Students who complete their internship training after the regular convocation held last year and up to June 29, 2020, will get their degrees in the said convocation.
Controller of sxamination Dr Ajit Pathak informed that eligible students should send application to the University in prescribed format available at www.muhs.ac.in completed in all respects. Certificates will be issued to the students in absentia.
Mini convocation is not new for MUHS. It is organized generally in October-November so that medical graduates bound for higher studies in foreign countries get their degrees on time. This year, the regular convocation of the university was held in January.
