Police search for teen after girl, 16, stabbed at coast shopping centre
Police are searching for an 18-year-old man after a teenage girl was stabbed in the face at a Sunshine Coast shopping centre.
Emergency services were called to a shopping centre at Buddina about 4pm on Monday after reports of the incident.

It will be alleged that two men aged 18 and 17, both known to each other, had been involved in a fight when the 16-year-old girl tried to intervene.
The 18-year-old then allegedly stabbed the girl leaving her with a "significant laceration from her chin to ear", police said in a statement.
He then fled from the shopping centre before the girl was taken in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The 17-year-old man was not injured.
A crime scene was declared and police patrolled the area into the night but failed to find the 18-year-old.
