Indian Army chief General MM Naravane on June 23 met injured soldiers at Leh's Military Hospital. The Army Chief is on a two-day visit to Ladakh to assess situation after Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers. His visit comes at a time when India and China are holding military-level talks to defuse the border tensions after the violent face-off in Ladakh in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives. Indian intercepts have revealed that the Chinese side suffered 43 casualties.
