
CGBSE CG Board 10th, 12th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Chhattisgarh Board Of Secondary Education (CGBSE) declared the class 10 and 12 results on Tuesday, June 23. The overall passing percentage for the class 10 results were recorded to be 73.62 and 78.59 per cent for class 12. Pragya Kashyap emerged as the leading scorer from the 10th standard, securing 100 per cent marks. In class 12 it was Tikesh Vaishnav, who scored 97.80 per cent marks.
Girls outperformed the boys in both the standards, with the 10th standard recording 76.28 passing percentage and 82.02 per cent in class 12. Meanwhile, 70.53 per cent boys cleared the class 10 exams and 74.40 per cent cleared the 12th papers. Students can check the results on the board’s official website – cgbse.nic.in. Results are also available at results.gov.in, cgresults, results.cg.nic.in.
A total of 6.29 lakh students appeared in both class 10, 12 exams this year, out of which around 3.84 lakh candidates sat for the class 10 exams, while the rest 2.66 lakh for the plus-two exams. As the board cancelled the pending exams due to the extension of Covid-19 induced lockdown, the students were assessed on the basis of internal assessment in the remaining subjects.
The state government has launched a helpline number for the students. The helpline services will be active from today and will continue till July 3. Students can call the helpline numbers for career counselling.
As per a notification on results.cg.nic.in, both NIC and CGBSE will not take any responsiblity for any inadvertent error which may have crept in the results currently availabe on the website. The marksheet are just to provide immediate information to the examinees and these cannot be treated as original mark sheets. Original mark sheets have been issued by the Board separately.
Meanwhile, an important announcement has been made by the state government. The youth of the state would be provided with employment opportunities in the field of teaching and health under a government development program.

Around 6.5 lakh students who had appeared in both class 10th, 12th exams can now check results through the official websites, cgbse.nic.in, results.cg.nic.in
Girls of Chhattisgarh have put up a better show as compared to its boys in both class 10 and 12. In the high school exam, 73.62 per cent of students who appeared for the exam have passed. In this, girls outperformed boys by scoring 76.28 per cent and of the total boys who appeared for class 10 exams, 70.53 could pass the boards. For class 12 too the image was similar as of the total 78.59 per cent students cleared the exam. Among girls, 82.02 per cent passed while 74.40 per cent of boys cleared the CGBSE class 12 exams, as per the data shared by the board
Mungeli has given toppers for both classes 10 and 12. The class 10 topper Pragya Kashyap from Mungeli district has topped the exam and got the highest possible marks. She scored a perfect 100 per cent marks by obtaining as many as 600 out of 600. In class 12 too Mungeria-lad Tikesh Vaishnav has emerged as the topper. He has scored 97.80 per cent marks. He got 489 marks out of 500.
Tikesh Vaishnav from Mungeli topped the class 12 exam with 489 marks. The second and the third rank secured by Shreya Agarwal with 485 marks and Tannu Yadav with 483 marks.
Pragya Kashyap has topped the High School Certificate (HSC) exam scoring 100 per cent marks. The girl from Mungeli got 600 out of 600. Prashansa Rajput and Bharti Yadav secured the second and third spot with 99.33 per cent and 98.67 per cent respectively.

Step 4: Enter your details in the fields provided and click on “submit”.
Step 5: Download your result and take a print out of the same for further reference.

All the students who had appeared for the 10th, 12th examination can check the results through the official website, cgbse.nic.in, results.cg.nic.in. In case due to heavy traffic, the websites go slow, the results will also be available at examresults.net, indiaresults.com
Students can also check the results through their cell phones. They are required to follow the below mentioned steps in order to get the same.
