Corrupt officials pulled out money on two residential lands approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojna) without stating that it was complete.

Pendra. A new feat of corruption has emerged in the Pendra District of Chhattisgarh. The houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojna) of the beneficiaries of two poor sections living just 200 meters from the district office were stolen. On the complaint of 'theft' of the house, officials of the administration and police are talking about action. In fact, two pucca houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana of Lalli Rautel and Usha Rautel have disappeared. Or rather they have been stolen. Now you will wonder how this feat happened?

In fact, this act is the result of corrupt officials of the district, who pulled out money on two residential lands approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, without building a house on it. Both the beneficiaries did not even know that the house was approved in their name. Both of them were living on rent in their own raw house. Lalli and Usha did not have their own land, on which they could build their own housing. In such a situation, the district officials took advantage of this by standing in front of their old house and took their initial photo and also made live tagging. After that neither land was allotted from the panchayat for housing nor did it become a residence. Fake photos and fake live tagging and fake accounts were opened and all the money was stolen. Now, when the beneficiaries came to know that the Prime Minister's residence was approved in his name and was also completed in the papers, he complained to the police station. The complaint said that his house was stolen.

Panchayat will allot government land

In fact, in the guidelines set under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, there is a provision that for the beneficiary who does not have land or is landless, then the panchayat will allot government land on which his residence will be built. On the matter, the investigating officer of Pendra police station says that the complaint has come, action will be taken against all those officers who are guilty.

Collector called report

How careless the Janpad Panchayat is, it is only from this statement of the Chief Executive Officer of the district that he does not know about this matter. However, he definitely said that after investigation, the beneficiary will take action to get the house. At the same time, the collector says that this information is in his cognizance. He has called for an investigation report of this entire case. Also, work will be done in this direction first. Action will also be taken against the culprits.
