minister K Sudhakar’s 82-year-old father and a domestic help on Monday tested positive for Covid-19. Several ministers, including chief minister BS Yediyurappa, will come under the scanner since they have held many meetings with Sudhakar, who is tasked with Covid-19 matters, in the past two weeks.
“My father’s Covid test has come out positive. Praying for his speedy recovery,” Sudhakar tweeted. Sources said Sudhakar’s father, a member of Chikkaballapur zilla panchayat, was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru with complaints of fever and cough. He had no signs of comorbidity. A cook in the minister’s house was also diagnosed with coronavirus and he is being treated at a hospital. “Please pray for him to be healed soon,” he tweeted.
This is the second time Sudhakar will be out of action from his duties.
