FALL RIVER - The city is reporting eight new cases of coronavirus, for a total of 1,566, and four new deaths, for a total of 96.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported 17 new COVID-19-related deaths across the state Monday, bringing the state's total to 7,874.
In addition, state health officials reported 149 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 107,210. Of the new cases reported Monday, 13 are probable. None of the newly reported deaths fell into the probable category.
The key indicators continue to trend down. The seven-day weighted positive test rate is 1.9%, down from 8.5% a month ago. The three-day average of hospitalizations is 937, down from 2,243 one month ago. The three-day average of deaths is 26, down from 72 a month ago.
As of Monday, 920 people were hospitalized and 180 people were in the ICU, with 107 intubated. One week ago, there were 1,026 patients in the hospital, 253 in the ICU and 167 intubated.
Charlton Memorial Hospital is reporting 66 cases, with 13 in the ICU; one week ago, they had 46 cases, with 12 in the ICU.
Morton Hospital is reporting five cases, with one in the ICU; one week ago, they had seven cases, with one in the ICU.
St. Luke's Hospital is reporting 18 cases, with one in the ICU; one week ago, they had 25 cases, with seven in the ICU.
Saint Anne's continues to report zero cases.
As of June 17, weekly data shows that 88,725 Massachusetts patients have been released from isolation, meaning they are considered to have recovered from the virus.
