Share market update: Realty shares rise; Indiabulls Real Estate climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher in Monday's session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.93 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 4.78 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 3.51 per cent) , SOBHA (up 2.02 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.64 per cent) , Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.9 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.56 per cent up at 214.15 around 11:54AM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 55.35 points at 10299.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 160.11 points at 34891.84.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Federal Bank, PNB, Ibull HousingFin, Glenmark Pharma, Tata Motors, RBL Bank Ltd., SBI, IDFC First Bank Ltd. and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
