Sushant Singh\'s family oragnises a prayer meet

Bollywood was jolted with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide on June 14. His last rites were performed in Mumbai and over the weekend, the late actor’s family organized a prayer meet in his hometown of Patna. A cheerful photograph of Sushant Singh Rajput was framed and adorned with flowers.



Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at the age of 34 at his Bandra residence, the actor was reportedly suffering from depression. The Mumbai police have already recorded the statement of his alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his close friend Siddharth Pitani. Fans of Sushant started an uproar on social media, while a lawyer also filed a case against several Bollywood celebrities in connection to the actor’s demise. Salman Khan recently took to social media to calm all fans of Sushant and requested his followers to support the late actor’s admirers. “A request to all my fans to stand with sushant's fans n not to go by the language n the curses used but to go with the emotion behind it. Pls support n stand by his family n fans as the loss of a loved one is extremely painful," Salman had posted.


‘Chhichhore’ was Sushant Singh Rajput’s last onscreen performance. He had been shooting for ‘Dil Bechara’, which marks Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut. Sushant’s last act on the big screen will be ‘Dil Bechara’, which featured newbie Sanjana Sanghi as his leading lady.
