Magnitude-5.3 earthquake hits Mizoram

NEW DELHI: An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on the Richter Scale hit Mizoram at 4.10am on Monday, according to the National Centre for Seismology.
The epicentre of the quake was 27km south-southwest of Champhai, Mizoram.

There were no reports of casualties or damage to property.
