Sonam Kapoor reacts to nepotism debate: Yes I’m my father's daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged

Leading Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, in her latest tweet, admitted that she is privileged because she is a child of her father, Anil Kapoor. This comes in the wake of massive social media criticism hurled against star kids and 'insiders' who allegedly snatch the work of deserving actors like Sushant Singh Rajput that have struggled to make a name for themselves without a Godfather or famous family in the industry. Sonam's bold tweet read as follows, 'yes I’m my fathers daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged. That’s not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I’m born and to whom I’m born. I’m proud to be his daughter.' Sonam and her family have been at the receiving end of rape threats, abuses and negative comments online after a video of her reportedly refusing to recognise Sushant on Karan Johar's chat show went viral, post his suicide.
