UPJEE BEd 2020 exam to be held on July 29
The varsity is likely to double up the centres from 900 to 1900 to follow safety norms.

LUCKNOW: Lucknow University will be conducting Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination of Bachelors in Education (UPJEE BEd) on July 29. The new dates were announced by the varsity on Sunday. Earlier, the examination was scheduled on April 8 and was deferred to April 22 and then it was further postponed due to novelcoronavirus pandemic.
The varsity has also decided to double the centre for examination to ensure social distancing, while conducting an examination of over 4.5 lakhs candidates from across the state.
“The government had directed to schedule the examination on any Sunday in July hence the administration has decided to hold the exam on July 29. We had also give candidates to select new centres choices and can make corrections in old considering the pandemic situation. Around 1.10 lakh candidate have selected new centres,” said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
