Australian State Extends State of Emergency | Australia's second-most populous state, Victoria, extended its state of emergency for four more weeks to July 19 after the state reported 19 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 1,836, a quarter of the cases in Australia. 

MHA Issues Directions for Covid-19 Care | Each house outside containment zones should be listed and monitored. Coronavirus cases to be kept in a hospital, Covid Care Center or in home isolation. COVID Care Centers to be run properly with the help of voluntary organizations/NGOs: Ministry of Home Affairs 

Maharashtra Reports 3,870 New Cases | A total of 3,870 new cases of the novel coronavirus and 101 deaths were reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,32,075. The death toll stands at 6,170. Of the total cases, Mumbai now has 66,488 cases and have reported 3,671 deaths.

15 More Test Positive in UP's Shamli | Fifteen more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli, taking the total number of active cases in the district to 43. 

UPDATE | Home Minister Amit Shah in a meeting today reviewed Covid-19 containment strategy in Delhi in light of recommendations by V K Paul committee. The Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed fresh delineation of containments zones, strict monitoring, aggressive contact tracing and quarantining in view of the spurt in coronavirus cases in the national capital. 

The government report shows that access to essential services was a major problem as average weekly claim volumes under Ayushman Bharat scheme were 51 percent lower in 10 weeks of lockdown compared to the 12 weeks prior to lockdown.

Noida: One Death, 49 News Virus Cases | One more person died from coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar as 49 fresh cases pushed the district's infection tally to 1,419 today. 

13 NHRC Employees Test Covid-19 Positive in 10 Days | Thirteen employees of the National Human Rights Commission, including some senior officials, have tested positive for coronavirus in the past ten days. 

Telangana Reports 730 New Virus Cases | A total of 730 new coronavirus cases were reported in Telangana today, taking the total number of infections to 7,802. 

Mizoram Extends Total Lockdown in Cities | The Mizoram government extended the ongoing total lockdown in state capital Aizawl, 10 other district headquarters and containment areas for another eight days till June 30 to contain further spread of coronavirus infection.

Haryana Covid-19 Update | Haryana reported 412 fresh coronavirus cases today, taking the total number of cases to 10,635. 

The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has granted Cipla regulatory approval for restricted emergency use in the country as part of the accelerated approval process considering the urgent and unmet medical need, the company said in a statement.

Rajasthan Reports 393 New Covid-19 Cases | A total of 393 new coronavirus cases and 12 deaths were reported in Rajasthan today, taking the total number of cases in the state to 14,930 and the death toll to 349. The tally includes 2984 active cases and 11,355 discharges. 

GoAir Brings Back 5,000 Indian Nationals from Gulf Countries | Budget carrier GoAir said it brought home around 5,000 Indian nationals, who were stuck in some of the Gulf countries amidst the coronavirus pandemic, through 28 chartered flights operated between June 9 and June 20.

Rohini MLA Vijender Gupta said many other housing societies were coming up with such facilities, anticipating further rise in coronavirus cases and the demand for isolation centres.

Telangana Ministers Hit Back at Nadda over Covid-19 Test Remarks | Seeking to turn the tables, Telangana Health Minister E Rajender said, "The Centre gave 2 lakh N95 masks and some PPE kits as if it gave alms. The testing kits meant for Telangana were diverted to Kolkata. We got 14 lakh N95 masks and 10 lakh PPE kits on our own. After Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Telangana is racing ahead in the healthcare sector. Telangana is a role model to the country."

West Bengal Sees Rise in Covid-19 Deaths | The death toll due to coronavirus in West Bengal climbed to 555 today after 15 more people died due to the disease. The tally reached 13,531 after 441 fresh cases were reported. 

J&K Covid-19 Tally Update | Health bulletin shows Jammu and Kashmir officials reported 122 new coronavirus cases today: Jammu division confirmed 20 and Kashmir division confirmed 102. The total number of cases in the union territory now stands at 5956 while the death toll is at 82. The tally includes 3,382 recovered cases. 

The wedding procession had left the Kamrauli village in Amethi on Friday for Haidergarh in Barabanki where the wedding was to take place.

Punjab Covid-19 Tally Update | Health officials in Punjab reported 122 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infections in the state to 4,074. The death toll rises to 99 after one death was reported. A total of 2,700 people have recovered from the disease. 

Ladakh Reports One Case, 17 Recoveries | One more person has tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Ladakh, taking the total in the Union territory to 837 while 17 patients were discharged today after recovering from the disease.

Gujarat Records 580 New Covid-19 Cases | Health bulletin shows Gujarat recorded a total of 580 new coronavirus cases and 25 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 27317 while the death toll reached 1,664. The tally includes 19,357 discharges and 6,296 active cases. of the total new cases, 273 new cases and 20 deaths were confirmed in Ahmedabad alone.

3,000 More Covid-19 Cases Reported in Delhi | A total of 3,000 new coronavirus cases were reported in New Delhi in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infections in the national capital to 59,746. The death toll reached 2175 after 63 fatalities were reported. The tally includes 33013 recoveries and 24, 558  active cases.

UP Covid-19 Update | Health officials said 596 new coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours. There are 6,186 active cases and 10,995 patients have been cured/discharged. The death toll stands at 550. 

453 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Karnataka | A total of 453 fresh coronavirus cases and five deaths were reported in Karnataka today, taking the total number of active cases to 3,391 and the death toll to 137. 

Dharavi Covid-19 Update | A total of 12 new coronavirus cases were reported in Mumbai's Dharavi region today, taking the total cases to 2,170. No new deaths today.
