Thane: 400 more ICU and oxygen beds in Kalyan-Dombivli, says minister Eknath Shinde

KALYAN: A decision to increase the number of ICU and oxygen beds by 200 each in the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) area was taken on Saturday, at a review meeting held by guardian minister Eknath Shinde.
KDMC commissioner Dr Vijay Suryawanshi was asked to identify a location on an urgent basis, to set up the beds. Shinde also directed the civic administration to increase the medical manpower-doctors, nurses and support staff, and the number of ambulances.
