41 fresh Covid cases in Noida, 56 in Ghaziabad

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Gautam Budh Nagar reported 41 fresh Covid cases on Saturday, taking the district tally to 1,369, according to the health department.
Currently, there are 690 active cases and 661 patients have recovered. The district has recorded 18 deaths. The report also said that 39 people were discharged on Saturday.
The data shared by the health department, however, does not match with Friday’s district data. The district health department did not release any report on Saturday.
While sources said the district report will not be released from now, this information could not be independently verified by district officials.
In Ghaziabad, 56 new cases pushed the district tally to 853. In the past five days 215 people have tested positive. The district also reported two deaths on Saturday. The total deaths in the district stands at 42. Of the 56 who tested positive are15 women and two children. The total active cases in Ghaziabad is now at 307, 504 people have been discharged.
