International Yoga day live updates: Yoga brings people together, says PM Modi

Every year International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21. Its sixth edition falls on Sunday, which also happens to have a solar eclipse day in several parts of north India, including Delhi.

  • As India celebrates the sixth annual International Day of Yoga (IDY) in the age of social distancing, celebrations on Saturday in the United States too looked a bit different.
  • Themed 'Yoga At Home and Yoga with Family', this year, the Indian Mission celebrated yoga day virtually at the residence of Indian Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu - the India house.
  • The IDY 2020 was organised in partnership with the Friends of Yoga and several organizations which supports yoga in the United States.
