Chennai: According to sources close to the Minister, Anbalagan was admitted to a corporate hospital on Thursday and tested positive for the virus. “His health parameters are being monitored by Health Minister C Vijaya Baskar. His scan reports and chest x-rays are normal,” a source said. Anbalagan is the first Minister and third politician in TN to be infected. The first was DMK legislator J Anbazhagan who succumbed last week and the second was AIADMK legislator from Sriperumbudur constituency K Palani. Opposition leader MK Stalin in a tweet wished the Minister a speedy recovery. “I called him up after hearing of his condition. I wished him a speedy recovery. Those in public life should be cautious,” his tweet said.
