Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now given a big gift to the migrant laborers facing the Corona epidemic in the country by launching the Garib Kalyan Rozgar Yojana today. PM Modi has launched this scheme through video conference today. Now under this scheme, migrant laborers will be able to get work near their home.

Under the Garib Kalyan Rozgar Yojana, migrant laborers will get employment in 116 districts of six states of the country for 125 days. Under this, 25,000 migrant laborers from each district will be given jobs.

Currently Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Odisha have been selected under this scheme. It is being told that under the scheme, 25 types of infrastructure related work will be given to laborers in the village itself. A person receiving work under this scheme must have an Aadhaar card and a certificate of residence. While he must be over 18 years of age.
