Thane: Covid +ve patient dies after shuttling between hospitals, BJP alleges foul play

After a man admitted at a civic-run Thane hospital for kidney treatment tested positive and later died, BJP alleged foul play.
The 50-year-old was admitted to the Thane hospital on June 13, and tested positive on June 17. His family was told on June 18 that he had been shifted to a Covid hospital in Mumbra.
When his family went there, there was no trace of him. They went back to the civic-run Thane hospital, and were told he was moved to Thane Civil Hospital. When the family reached there, they were told that he had died. BJP city party president Niranjan Davkhare has alleged foul play.
