- Total loan book under moratorium for banks and large NBFCs like HDFC has come down as some customers have opted out after initially opting in a report by Macquarie Capital Securities said.

Rising diesel prices set new record
- Diesel prices soared to a record on Friday while petrol prices rose to their highest in 19 months after state oil companies increased rates for the thirteenth time in as many days.
- Diesel has climbed to Rs 77.06 a litre in Delhi and Rs 75.53 in Mumbai. Petrol prices have risen to Rs 78.37 a litre in Delhi and Rs 85.21 in Mumbai. On Friday, diesel and petrol prices rose by 63 paise and 56 paise a litre, respectively.

- The Delhi High Court has directed authorities to treat as a representation a PIL seeking free masks, free food twice a day and water in all of the over 200 containment zones in the national capital.
- A bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Prateek Jalan said the petitioner had not made any representation to the authorities for the various reliefs, including allowing entry of technical or service personnel and door-to-door delivery of essential goods in such zones.
