Screen grab from the official websiteNEW DELHI: The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) result 2020 for class 6 and 9 admissions has been released by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) on its official website today i.e., June 19, 2020.
Students, who have appeared for the JNVST 2020 can visit the official portal of NVS — navodaya.gov.in — to obtain their JNVST result.
NVS conducts JNVST for class 6 admission and Lateral Entry Test for class 9 admission. JNVST for class 6 of summer bound JNVs was conducted on January 11 and the Lateral Entry Test 2020 for class 9 was conducted on February 8.
The HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday had informed that the JNVST results would be announced on June 19.
As per the report, around 30 lakh students had appeared for the JNVST examination. This year, the result got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Steps to check JNVST result 2020
Meanwhile, NVS had postponed the JNVST exam which was scheduled to be held on April 11. The rescheduled date will be released later. A notification in this regard available on the official website reads "Class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, 2020 (JNVST 2020) scheduled to be held on 11th April 2020 in respect of Winter Bound JNVs is postponed due to administrative reasons. The rescheduled date will be communicated."

Steps to check JNVST result 2020
- Visit the authorised portal of NVS — navodaya.gov.in
- Click on the result link available on the homepage
- On the new page opened, enter your registration number and date of birth
- Click on the submit button
- Your JNVST result 2020 will now be displayed on the screen
- Download and retain a copy of the result for future reference
