The total corona-infected patients in Haryana reached 9 thousand 333 on Friday. 115 new cases came while 15 old patients discharged from the hospital and also went home. The condition of 63 patients in the state remains critical. 45 patients are walking on oxygen and 18 patients are breathing on ventilators. In Faridabad alone, 21 patients are on oxygen support. In Gurgaon, 11 patients are on a ventilator.

Due to the increasing number of patients in Gurgaon, arrangements have been made to collect samples at four primary health centers from Friday. The District Health Department has recently recruited ten new lab technicians. Suspicious patients will no longer have to wander here and there for examination when corona symptoms occur. They will also get the test report either online or from PHC. According to officials, this facility will start on Friday. Till now, there was a system of taking samples of suspects only in Sector-10 civil hospitals in the city and in sub-divisional hospitals of Sohna and Pataudi.

On the instructions of the Civil Surgeon, booths have been set up in Dundahera, Gandhi Nagar, Sector-39, and Wazirabad for sampling. People living near it will be able to visit the designated places and give their samples for testing. Like the government hospital, the corona investigation of the suspects will be done here free of charge by the Health Department. Private hospitals and labs are charging a fee of Rs 4500.

Apart from Gurgaon, today 115 patients including 15 patients in Narnaul, 10 in Panchkula, 7 in Panipat, 4 in Bhiwani, 3 patients in Jhajjar. A total of 15 patients were discharged, including 8 in Panchkula, 7 in Kurukshetra. So far, 4 thousand 571 patients have been discharged in the state. At present, 4 thousand 628 active patients are present.

So far 2 lakh 5 thousand people got corona test

So far, corona tests of 2 lakh 5 thousand 237 patients have been done in Haryana. Out of these, the report of 1 lakh 89 thousand 544 has come negative while the report of 9 thousand 333 has come positive. Of these positive patients, 6 thousand 360 are male while 2 thousand 972 are female and 1 is transgender. 134 patients have died, 90 of them male and 44 female. So far, 52 in Gurgaon, 46 in Faridabad, 9 in Sonepat, 6 in Rohtak, 5 in Panipat, 3-3 in Ambala, Jind and Karnal, 2-2 in Bhiwani and Jhajjar, 1- in Palwal, Hisar and Charkhi-Dadri 1 has died. The recovery rate has come down to 48.98% while patients are doubling in 10 days.
