Covid-19 patients needing hospitalisation will now have the option of either going to Delhi government hospitals, private hospitals offering 60% of their Covid beds at lower rates fixed by the Central government panel or opt for 40% of the beds in private hospitals at usual rates charged by the latter. Home minister Amit Shah had on Thursday asked the NCR regions to follow the same measures as Delhi, including common rates for testing and treatment at private hospitals, so as to ensure a unified approach for Delhi-NCR region in the battle against Covid-19.
SC asks Centre, states to ensure compliance of order to transport migrants back home
The top court today said that it's June 9 order was very clear and asked the Central government and States to ensure that all migrants reach their home within 15 days. The court asked the authorities concerned to ensure that no migrants have to pay anything to go back to their respective states, villages, and towns.

MHA: To provide relief to the common man in Delhi, HM Amit Shah constituted a committee under Member of NITI Aayog to fix rates charged by Pvt hospitals in Delhi for isolation beds, ICUs without ventilator support & ICUs with ventilator support.

PIL for free masks, food in containment zones be treated as representation: HC to authorities
The Delhi High Court has directed authorities to treat as a representation a PIL seeking free masks, free food twice a day and water in all of the over 200 containment zones in the national capital. A bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Prateek Jalan said the petitioner had not made any representation to the authorities for the various reliefs, including allowing entry of technical or service personnel and door-to-door delivery of essential goods in such zones.
