SVE Syclone Is A 750 HP GMC Canyon Super Truck

Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) is the name behind some very serious projects, including the 1,000 HP Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, 800 HP Silverado and 1,000 HP Camaro.

Unsurprisingly, their latest build is just as crazy. Baptized the Syclone after the 1991 performance truck, it’s a heavily modified GMC Canyon packing a 5.3-liter supercharged V8 engine that pumps out a staggering 750 HP and 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque.

“Need to haul with a sense of urgency? This extended cab, short bed pickup truck on steroids is more than up to the task. The super truck is not a new idea however this Syclone version could easily qualify as the fastest limited production mid-size pickup truck in the world”, SVE explains.

Also included in the package are a heavy-duty 8-speed automatic transmission, permanent all-wheel drive system, heavy-duty AWD transfer case, front and rear driveshafts, stainless steel exhaust system, high-performance brakes with 6-piston front calipers, and a lowered suspension.

SVE took care of the visuals by installing the ABS composite hood insert and rocker panel extensions while also swapping the stock wheels for a custom 20-inch set finished in Black Satin with custom red graphics and shod with 285/45 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tires. Custom ‘750 HP’ and ‘Syclone’ badges can be seen inside and out, with options including a folding tonneau cover and custom seat trim package.

If you want a Syclone of your own, then you should hurry up and reach out to SVE, as the company will only make 50 units of the super truck based on the GMC Canyon. Each one will be offered with a 3-year / 36,000-mile (60,000 km) warranty for the engine, supercharger, heavy-duty transmission and non-powertrain components.
