NEW DELHI: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti on Friday released the entrance exam results for Class 6th and 9th on its official website.
Candidates, who appeared for the JNVST entrance examinations seeking admission to the Classes 6th and 9th, can check their result on the official website - https://www.navodaya.gov.in/.
Shortlisted candidates will be admitted as lateral entry students to Navodaya Vidyalaya for the upcoming session on the basis of their results on this selection test.
Announcin the result date, the Union HRD minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted, "Happy to share that select list of candidates for admission to Class VI in summer bound areas and lateral entry for class IX in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for the session 2020-21 will be declared on 19th June 2020. Stay tuned..."
How to check NVS Class 6th & 9th Result 2020
The NVS has released the Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2020 result in the PDF format for Class 6th and Lateral Entry Test for Class 9th. Candidates would need their roll number in order to check their name in the JNVST Result PDF.

Leteral Entry Selection Test (Class IX) 2020 Result
The JNVST entrance exam (Phase 1) for Class 6 was conducted on January 11, 2020 while Lateral Entry Test 2020 for Class 9 was held on February 8, 2020. The JNVST Selection Test Phase 1 for Class 6th was conducted for a few states while for the remaining states will be conducted in Phase 2.
The admissions to the Classes 6th and 9th will be done based on the selection list only.
According to the Navodaya Vidyalaya admission policy, at least 75% of the seats in a district are filled by students selected from rural areas at block level and the remaining seats are filled on the basis of open merit of the district.
Steps to check JNVST result 2020
1) Log on to the official NVS website — navodaya.gov.in
2) Click on the result link available on the homepage
3) Click on the desired link, a PDF file will appear on your screen
4) Check your result with the help of your roll number
5) Download the page and if needed keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
