Rahul Gandhi turns 50: Tharoor extends wishes, Cong workers perform 'havan'

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi turned 50 on June 19.

Gandhi decided to not celebrate his birthday due to Covid crisis and killing of 20 Indian soldiers in Ladakh.

Congress has asked all state units not to organise any celebratory activities.

Congress instead urged party members to distribute food packets & help those in need.

Party also asked all its units to observe 2 minutes silence in memory of valiant soldiers.
