Additional drug, indecent assault charges laid against artist Anthony Lister

Police have laid 11 additional charges against Sydney street artist Anthony Lister, who is before the courts regarding allegations he drugged and sexually assaulted multiple women.

Police allege Mr Lister drugged and sexually assaulted four women, including three art students, between 2015 and 2018.

He is also alleged to have tattooed one of the women without her consent while she was heavily intoxicated.

The new charges include an act of indecent assault against one of these women, a 21-year-old, as well as additional drug offences relating to possession and supply.

Investigators executed search warrants at the 40-year-old artist's Darlinghurst home and an industrial space in Marrickville on Tuesday, during which they allegedly seized 1.8 grams of lysergide (LSD), ice, ketamine and a range of prescription medications.

Mr Lister was previously charged with a number of offences including five counts of sexual intercourse without consent, using an intoxicating substance to commit an indictable offence and causing grievous bodily harm to a person with intent.

He has also been charged with possessing a firearm, prohibited drugs and a prohibited weapon.

He remains on conditional bail and is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court today.

The father of three appeared in court in March, where his defence lawyer said he would be defending "most of the charges".
