Maharashtra: Kalyan-Dombivli report 212 patients in 24 hours, tally rises to 2,779

KALYAN: The region on Thursday reported its highest single-day Coivd-19 cases at 212 and two deaths, taking the the tally to 2,779 in region, including 68 fatalities.
Earlier on June 12, in a single day spike, 185 coronavirus patients were reported in the region.
As per the press note issued the by health department of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), out of the 2,779 patients, 1,238 have been cured, while remaining 1,473 active patients are still undergoing treatment at different hospitals.
The health officials said two Covid-19 patients who died, include an 81-year old person from Dombivli and another 65-year-old from F Cabin Road area in Kalyan.
