Days after the Galwan clash, India has confirmed that it will participate in Russia, India, China (PIC) virtual meet scheduled to be held on June 23. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), in a press briefing, said it will go ahead as planned despite the Galwan violence. In the meeting between the three nations, a coordinated response to the COVID-19 pandemic will be discussed. "While remaining convinced of the need for maintenance of peace and tranquillity on border areas and resolution of differences through dialogue, at the same time as PM said yesterday we are strongly committed to ensuring India's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the MEA said.
