A picture is becoming quite viral these days on social media. People are sharing it as shameful politics, but the face of the foot toucher is not seen in the picture. It is being said that the man who touched Sonia Gandhi's feet is former PM Manmohan Singh.

Tightening the picture, it is being claimed that the person touching Sonia's feet is our former PM Manmohan Singh.

What is truth

On reverse searching the picture, we found this picture on Getty Images. This photo was taken during a national conference of Indian Youth Congress held in New Delhi on 29 November 2011. This person is not one but former PM Manmohan Singh. The picture was taken by India Today photographer Shekhar Yadav. On Getty Images we found another picture of the same day in which Manmohan Singh is seen sitting in a blue turban. While the person seen in the picture is seen wearing a Kesari turban. In such a situation, it is clear that this person is not Manmohan Singh.

The man seen wearing a turban in the picture is not Manmohan Singh, but a general representative of the Congress.
