Cops, attorneys quarantined day after sub-inspector tests positive

Police officials said the 52-year-old sub-inspector would complain of fatigue. During random testing of cops, the sub-inspector was also tested and his reports came positive on Tuesday.
The Shimlapuri SHO said, “Besides the cops, the sub-inspector had also come in contact with two deputy district attorneys, Harkeerat Singh and Dinesh Kumar, and assistant district attorney Rajbeer Singh Chahal.”
“His other contacts are sub-inspectors Ranjeet Singh and Simranjeet Kaur, ASIs Jarnail Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Ajmer Singh, head constable Swaran Singh and my gunman constable Talwinder Singh,” he added.
“We have no clue from where the sub-inspector contracted the novel coronavirus,” the SHO added.
While some of the officials have been home isolated, other cops have been sent to the quarantine centre — Sigma College of Nursing, Southern Bypass.
