
Manabadi TSBIE TS Inter Results 2020 LIVE Updates: The Telangana Board, TSBIE announce the result of intermediate first, the second-year examination on Thursday, June 18. The result was announced in the presence of state education minister at 3 pm. There is a slight increase in pass percentage from 59,77 per cent in 2019 for the first year and 65.01 per cent in the second year to 60.01 per cent in the first year and 68.86 per cent this year.
Students can check their results at multiple websites – . After earlier glitch, the results are now available.
This year, a total of 9.65 lakh students had appeared for both first and second-year exams. Of the total, 4,80,531 students appeared for the first-year and 4,85,345 students of the second-year exam. Medchal district has emerged as the top-performing district for the third time in a row.
After last year’s alleged goof-up, TSBIE has launched a grievance redressal portal this year. The link to the portal is flashing on the official website. Students can also check the same at bigrs.telangana.gov.in. It is called, Board of Intermediate Grievance Redressal System (BIGRS). TSBIE has also issued a series of counsellors for students who are dealing with stress.
The inter exam candidates need to secure a minimum pass percentage of 35 per cent to pass the exam. The examination took place in three parts, Part-I English, Part-II Second Language, and Part-III Group subjects.
As many as 25,000 invigilators conducted exams for nearly 10 lakh students at 1,339 exam centres. Further, 15,000 evaluators successfully valued the answer scripts, as per the TSBIE.
Medchal does it again. The district has emerged as the best district with an overall pass percentage of 75% in class 12 and 76% in class 11. This is the third time that Medchal has delivered the best result. In this district too, girls have performed better than boys. Girls from Medchal had scored 82% pass percentage and boys at 69% in class 12 and in class 11, 70% of boys and 82% of girls passed from the region.
For TS inter second-year students. This is the best ever pass percentage in the past five years or since 2015.

The mark sheets will be issued to the respective principals on June 22. In case a student finds any discrepancy in the mark sheet, the same needs to be notified to board through the concerned principal on or before July 17.
Students can apply for recounting, re verification-cum-scanned answer scripts online at tsbie.cgg.gov.in till June 24. They will have to pay an amount of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) per paper for Recounting and Rs.600/ per paper for re verification-cum- scanned answer scripts supply.
The Board has also taken the services of Clinical Psychologists to help the students to overcome any problem related to stress, strain, tension, anxiety, nervousness etc., Students are advised to contact these Clinical Psychologists from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. TSBIE has also launched a complaint portal - www.bigrs.telangana.gov.in to address grievances of students. A BIGRS mobile app is also available, however, it is only for Android users.
In the first year, most students passed with A grade or 75%+ marks. As many as 1.49 lakh in general and 15,207 in vocational and hence a total of over 1.64 lakh students passed the TS first with A grade. In the second year, too over 1.67 lakh students had got A grade of which 1.53 appeared for the exam in regular mode.
For the third consecutive year, girls have scored better than boys. The pass percentage of girls in first year is 67.47% as compared to 52.31% for boys. In the second year, the pass percentage of girls is 75.15% as compared to 62.11% of boys clearing the exam.
As many as 60.01 per cent of students have passed the TS Inter first year exams while the pass percentage of TS Inter second year is 68.86 per cent. Keeping up the trend, second-year students showed a better result than first-year students.
As soon as the result was announced, the websites have been either loading slow or showing error. While this seems to be due to the heavy load on the websites. An official from the TSBIE told indianexpress.com that the link will be activated by 4 pm, latest.

Despite the efforts made by TSBIE, the websites are loading very slowly. Students have been facing the issue in checking result, While there is no clarification from the board, it seems that the delay is being caused due to heavy traffic on the sites. Telangana has declared the result for the inter exams for both first-year and second-year students today in presence of state education minister. This has bought respite to over 9.5 lakh students who had been waiting for the result for months now. The result has been delayed from April to now in June due to the coronavirus.

The Board had decided to launch grades since 2018, however, it only came into play from 2019. Students will be given grade letters. Here is decoding of the result grades -
Grade A - More than 75 per cent
Grade B - 60 to 75 per cent
Grade C - 50 tp 60 per cent
Grade D - 35 to 50 per cent
Those who score below 35 per cent are deemed to be failed and have to reappear for the supplementary exam.
Candidates need to keep their admit card ready. Students will be asked to type their roll number while checking the result. The verification of the mark sheet should also be done with the name, subjects, exam centre as mentioned on the hall ticket

Last year, not even half of the students from government institutes could clear the exam. The government colleges in the state have witnessed a poor pass percentage, with only 46.1 per cent students passed in the first year. In govt-aided colleges, 43.5 per cent passed in the first year and 50.17 per cent in second-year. While better performance is hoped, the picture will be clear in an hour now.
