Representative imageAMBALA: Bodies of three persons and a boy with serious head injuries were found on the Ambala-Delhi railway track near DRM office overbridge, about 2 km away from the Ambala Cantonment railway station, in the early hours of Wednesday. Government Railway Police (GRP) officials said the deceased were unidentified and suspected to be migrants from another state, which included a woman (40), a girl (9) and a boy (3), while another boy (7) had received serious head injury.
Railways SP, Ambala Cantt, Smiti Chaudhary said, "An incident of three deaths and a person receiving injuries has taken place near DRM office overbridge on railway tracks about 2 km towards Delhi from the Ambala Cantonment railway station. As of now, we cannot say how the incident took place or whether they were walking on the railway track. An investigation into the incident is being carried out. No belongings or identification documents have been recovered from the spot. The injured boy is undergoing treatment at the PGIMER, Chandigarh."
