Lamborghini Urus Gains New Pearl Capsule Design Edition

Lamborghini has decided to build a design edition for the Urus, dubbed Pearl Capsule. This is the first exclusive customization option for the Italian SUV and it was created by the company’s Centro Stile design department.

The Pearl Capsule look means getting an assertive two-tone exterior, encompassing Lamborghini’s traditional high-gloss four layer pearl colors.

These are Giallo Inti, Arancio Borealis and Verde Mantis, and they can be matched with a high gloss black roof, rear diffuser, spoiler lip, matte grey tailpipes and 23-inch high-gloss black wheels with body color accents.

Inside, the trim is based on a two-tone color combo, featuring the carmaker’s hexagon-shaped upholstery stitching Q-Citura with logo embroidery on the seat, as well as carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum details. This spec also gets an exclusive optional fully-electric seat with airy perforated Alcantara.

“The Lamborghini Urus has attracted an extremely diverse clientele since its launch, with exceptionally varied lifestyles,” said the company’s CEO Stefano Domenicali. “Nearly 80% of those customers, of which around 10% are women, are new to the Lamborghini brand. […] The colors preferred by owners have varied enormously, with a strong mix of more understated choices as well as traditional sporty Lamborghini colors.”

The Pearl Capsule spec is available on MY2021 Urus models, which are priced from $218,009 in the United States, €186,134 in Europe and £143,676 in the UK. These updated models come with a fresh standard color palette and a continuously-expanding range of special colors and interior customization options – through the Lamborghini Ad Personam program.

Aside from new pearl colors in yellow, orange and green, there’s also a new metallic grey dubbed Grigio Keres.

As for tech and safety, the updated Lamborghini Urus now comes with an exclusive new key design, and an updated optional Parking Assistance Package with Intelligent Park Assist. Optional equipment includes a new premium Sensonum sound system, boasting a 730W amplifier and 17 speakers.
