Haryana: Kurukshetra reports five new Covid-19 cases, total number of cases reaches 88

KURUKSHETRA: Kurukshetra reported five new cases of Covid-19 while two patients got discharged after reporting negative on Wednesday, said district civil surgeon Dr Sukhbir Singh.
"With this, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases reached 88, out of which, 54 patients got discharged, and 34 are active cases", said Dr Sukhbir.
"Five new patients who tested positive for Covid-19 include a man (27) of Sector 13, Thanesar who came from Delhi and six samples are collected from his chain; three more are with Delhi travel history including a man (42) of Shanti Nagar Street Number 6, Thanesar, a man (32) of Mamu Majra, and a woman (19) of Bir Sujra village; and a woman (36) of Shanti Nagar, Kurari, Jhansa had gone to Mohali for treatment where she tested positive and she has been not admitted at the civil LNJP Hospital in Kurukshetra", said Dr Sukhbir.
"Two patients who got discharged from MMU Medical College and Hospital, Mullana include a man (26) and woman (42) of Sector 3, Thanesar", told Dr Sukhbir.
"So far, a total of 8,798 samples have been collected, out of which, 8,385 reported negative; 325 results are awaited, and 88 tested positive in Kurukshetra district”, added Dr Sukhbir.
