Karnataka: Mysuru youth murdered over business rivalry

MYSURU: A youth was stabbed to death by a gang of four youths on the outskirts of Mysuru on Wednesday.
The police suspect business rivalry as the cause for the murder.
A gang of four youths came on two bikes and stabbed Harshith (31) to death in Vijayanagar IV stage early on Wednesday. Harshith though shifted to hospital was declared brought dead, police said.
Vijayanagar police have detained four persons in this connection and probing the case. Persons associated with the deceased's previous employer too have been questioned, police stated.
Harshith worked under Rajaram who owned a hair and skin firm involved in hair transplant business but fell out with the latter and started his own business.
The duo had quarrelled over business a few times and the matter had also reached the courts. Harshith was also allegedly threatened by his former employer, police explained.
Police are suspecting that business rivalry has led to his murder. Four accused have been picked up and former employer Rajaram too has been named in FIR.
