Question over possible 'No Deal' Brexit

Welsh Government would like to see an extension to the discussion period over leaving the EU.

A no deal would have a huge impact - the pressure would “be intense” and it could be extremely damaging on some sectors of the economy, said Ms Morgan.

Question over quarantine measures

Ms Morgan said quarantine measures have been different across the globe - New Zealand shut airspace very quickly - and virtually eradicated the virus. Have to watch and learn from other countries.

Regards to quarantine in Wales - Public Health Wales are taking the lead on any quarantine issues.

Question over Welsh Government disagreement with UK Government

Welsh Government has always said it wants to take a four nation approach, but they are going to follow the science and keep lockdown rules in place - but that will be reviewed in coming days.

They are open to discussions, but Prime Minister hasn’t picked up the phone to the First Minister in recent weeks.

Concerns over children not being able to speak Welsh out of school

We understand that parents are anxious for their children to use the Welsh language - huge resources have been put in place online, the minister says.

They can speak to their friends in Welsh. “You don’t have to be in school in order to use the language,” says Ms Morgan.

Pressures on tourism question

Welsh Government has given no fixed dates about tourism sector, because “it is following the science”.

The signals are that we are “heading in the right direction.”

Need to make sure track and trace system is in place if people come to Wales.

Three weeks preparation time will be given to people in the tourism sector.

“We will do what is right for Wales, when it is right for Wales.”

Flintshire council has said 5 mile rule "is impossible to police"

There will be an opportunity to look at this, says Ms Morgan. Shops should have been preparing during this period.

Tourism, the Welsh Government, said it was aware of “the pressure” on the sector that was fundamental to the Welsh economy.

They were looking at what they can to avoid a second peak and “have to tread very carefully”.

Can’t reopen without the help of local community.

Question over 5 mile rule

Ms Morgan said 5 mile rule was put in place to stop virus spreading, but understands that “local” in rural areas is different to “local” in urban areas - there is “a degree of flexibility in rural areas”, she said. There is a review and any changes will be announced on Friday.

Sport and football

Next weekend the Championship resumes with Cardiff and Swansea playing behind closed doors - and the matches will be televised. Fans urged to stay away from travelling.

R Rate rise research

R rate when lockdown measures are lifted around Europe - research shows easing lockdown does not lead to big rise in the virus, but France shows the more you ease up, the more it can rise.
