“We are documenting all the positive energies he has left behind in this world,” reads the special message describing the essence of the website for Sushant Singh Rajput
On June 17, 2020, three days after his untimely death, late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's team has launched a website in his honour. Named Selfmusing.com, the website will offer Rajput's fans a compilation of the thoughts and ideas he'd penned during his lifetime. The name of the website couldn't be more apt, considering the hashtag #SelfMusing was one of the actor's favourites, and always made it under his Instagram posts relating to poetry, music and more.
Taking over Rajput's official social media account, the actor's team shared the news of the website's launch with a special message. “He is away but he is still alive with us. Kickstarting #SelfMusing mode. Fans like you were real ‘godfather’ for Sushant. As promised to him, converting this space into a collection of all his thoughts, learnings, dreams, and wishes, he always wanted people to know. Yes, we are documenting all the positive energies, he has left behind in this world.”
A dedicated space for his fans, the website is currently in its initial stages and will be launching soon. The homepage of Selfmusing.com refreshes every few minutes to spotlight a new quote by Sushant Singh Rajput. A small description on the page reads, “Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor, dancer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. #SelfMusing was his passion… We are in the process of documenting all the positive energies he has left behind in this world. This space will ensure that he is #AlwaysAlive.” The website can also be shared on different social media platforms, and has already garnered more than 100,000 shares.
After making his acting debut in TV series Pavitra Rishta, 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, 2020, in his Bandra residence. He was last seen in Chhichhore (2019) opposite Shraddha Kapoor. An engineering student from Bihar, Rajput made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with Koi Po Che and has left behind memorable performances in films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, PK and Kedarnath. Apart from acting, Rajput was particularly fond of reading, astrophysics and writing poetry.
