Representational ImageCHANDIGARH: Within days after the NSUI sought parity among the students from Haryana and from outside the state, the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the students' wing of the BJP too has raised the question over the issue of examination schedule released by the universities.
The ABVP team headed by Purnoor, the member of state executive, on Wednesday submitted the memorandum to Panchkula administration in this regard.
"Firstly, keeping in view the current situation, we don't think that this is the right time for the examinations. We are almost in the third week of June and the we are seeing almost 300 to 500 new Covid-19 cases every day, that too from all the districts. Hence, universities should either postpone the examinations or they have to be conducted for all the students,'' said Purnoor.
You can not have disparity of Haryana residents and non-residents. If required, eight universities and colleges should make boarding arrangements or they should make examination centres in the home districts or should make alternate arrangements for examinations, she added.
