NEW DELHI: Audi India is preparing to bring in the new iteration of performance car RS 7.
Taking to Twitter, Audi India teased the upcoming Sportback.
Audi RS 7, with an elegant coupe-shaped design with brilliant aesthetics, is powered by a 4-litre, V8, TFSI engine, which is good enough for 600 horsepower. The 0-100 kmph is clocked in 3.6 seconds with the top speed electrically limited to 250 kmph (optionally can be unlocked to 305 kmph).
The global spec RS 7 gets standard wide bodywork, 21-inch wheels, air suspension, a torque-vectoring rear differential and sportier seats.
Earlier in the year, the German carmaker drove in the flagship SUV Q8 and top-of-the-line sedan A8L.
Post lockdown, it has been a flurry of performance cars entering the Indian market. Audi’s arch-rival BMW drove in the 8 Series Gran Coupe and M8 while Mercedes-Benz brought in the AMG GT-R and C 63 Coupe.
