Kerala: CM’s daughter marries DYFI national president

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DYFI All-India president P A Mohammed Riyaz married Veena T, an IT entrepreneur and daughter of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan in a simple and solemn ceremony here on Monday. The marriage took place at Cliff House, the official residence of Kerala CM, in the presence of close relatives and friends. As per Covid-19 protocol, only around 25 guests attended the ceremony.
Marriage rituals were held in the presence of Pinarayi Vijayan, wife Kamala and Riyaz's parents Abdurahman and Aishabi.
Riyaz is a native of Kozhikode and is an advocate by profession. Veena had worked in Oracle and RP infotech before starting her own IT venture Exalogic in Bangalore. Both Riyaz and Veena are divorcees.
Among the few guests who blessed the newly-wed couple were governor Arif Mohammed Khan and wife Reshma, speaker P Sreeramakrishnan, CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnanand DGP Loknath Behera.
