MUMBAI: In another jolt to underworld gangster Chhota Shakeel, his younger sister Hamida died of Covid-19 early on Tuesday morning. Last month his elder sister Fahmida had died of suspected Covid-19 infection.
Sources said Hamida, who is married to Farooq Sayyed, had been in Bilal Hospital in Mumbra in Thane for last one week for viral infection.
On Tuesday morning she passed away while her husband Farooq, kids and other members were in quarantine.
Fahmida, Shakeel's elder sister, was married to Arif Abubakar Shaikh alias Bhaijaan who was arrested in Haren Pandya murder case, but was later discharged from the case.
