In Odisha on Monday, a woman rushed to the bank dragging her 100-year-old mother on the cot. The woman was forced to do so at the behest of the bank. Now the manager of that bank has been suspended.
The information and public relations department of Odisha state told the media that Ajit Kumar Pradhan, the branch manager of Bargaon Utkal Gramin Bank under Khariar block of Nuapada district, has been suspended.
Explain that the woman had gone to withdraw the pension amount of one and a half thousand rupees from her mother's Jan Dhan account. On this, the bank refused and asked him to come to the account holder himself. After which the 70-year-old capital reached the bank dragging its mother, Benefo Bagh, on the cot.
Acting on this mistake of the bank, the Odisha government has suspended the bank manager. At the same time, Bharat Swabhimaan Trust has come forward to help 100 years of old-age benefits. Organization Minister of Bharat Swabhimaan Trust Nuapada, Acharya Sudarshan Dev and his team reached the village of old age.
The people of the trust provided the old lady with a cash amount of one and a half thousand rupees, a month's ration, and a mother-daughter mask to avoid corona. At the same time, two more elderly women of the village were provided assistance of five hundred rupees.
