Amidst the rising infection of the corona virus, now the general public has once again suffered a major setback. The general public has suffered this major blow by increasing the prices of petrol and diesel. Government oil marketing companies of the country have increased the prices of petrol and diesel for the 10th consecutive day.
According to Indian Oil, today the price of one liter of petrol in the national capital Delhi has been increased by 47 paise per liter. While the price of one liter diesel has also been increased by 57 paise per liter.
Thus, in the last ten days, petrol has been made expensive by Rs 5.47 per liter and diesel by Rs 5.80 per liter. Today, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 76.73 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 75.19 per liter. Significantly, the demand for petrol and diesel has increased along with increasing the scope of exemption in lockdown.
