PANCHKULA: As many as 33 of the 60
Covid-19 cases (3 new ones were reported on Monday) have a travel history - most of them returned from Delhi, Ahmedabad and Punjab.
Two new patients came to Pinjore from Surat and Ahmedabad and the third came to Kalka from Delhi. Their family members were isolated and their secondary contacts are being traced, said officials.
Panchkula has 34 active case.
Fifteen people were infected from their contacts, with 13 catching the virus from their family members. These include eight members of a family in Sector 15 and five members of a family in Raipur Rani. The rest of the two were a beauty parlour worker - she was infected from Chandigarh's first Covid-19 patient - and a staff nurse. She had handled the mobile phone of the beauty parlour worker. Seven patients were members of Tablighi Jamaat. They had attended congregations in Delhi and Himachal Pradesh.
