Naked Big Brother housemates risk wardrobe malfunctions as they dash from the showers to earn food in a 24-hour challenge

Big Brother is always watching - and that's not always a good thing for housemates.

On Tuesday's episode, Big Brother seemingly picked the most inconvenient times for contestants to take part in a 24-hour challenge.

Sophie Budack and Angela Clancy risked baring all when their towels slipped as they dashed from the showers to the backyard.

In order to earn money for their shopping budget, the housemates were tasked with catching a ball from a contraption outside whenever an alarm rang with their name.

As they were living on limited rations, each housemate rushed to collect the ball, valued at $10 each, to ensure they could stock up the fridge and pantry.

Sophie, 25, proved she was a team player as she sprinted outside in a towel.

The model and former gymnast exposed plenty of skin as she leaped into action from the shower without properly wrapping herself.

Army cadet Sarah McDougal was showering in a swimsuit when her alarm sounded.

The 19-year-old hurried to the backyard, using a hand to keep her chest steady as she sprung into action.

Just after she returned to the bathroom, Big Brother rang her alarm a second time and she had to run back.

Elsewhere in the episode, the alarm rang while Kieran Davidson was napping, Zoe George was in the pool and Mat Garrick was on the toilet.

Fellow housemate Garth Saville said: 'I think Big Brother is strategically dropping the ball when we're at our most vulnerable.'

The contestants only managed to catch 19 of the 34 balls, earning a $190 shopping budget for the house.

Big Brother Australia continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Seven
