File photo of a KSRTC busBENGALURU: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to resume non-AC bus services to Andhra Pradesh from Wednesday.
This is the first time since the lockdown that it's operating inter-state services. "We are planning to resume operations to AP in a phased manner," said a senior KSRTC official.
Under Phase 1, buses will ply from Bengaluru, Ballari, Raichur and Shahpur to various destinations in the neighbouring state. From Bengaluru, buses will be operated to Anantapur, Hindupur, Kadri, Puttaparthi, Kalyandurga, Rayadurga, Kadapa, Proddatur, Mantralaya, Tirupati, Chittoor, Madanapalli, Nellore and Vijayawada.
Passengers can book tickets in advance through KSRTC's official website (www.ksrtc.in) or advance reservation counters. KSRTC is also planning to resume bus services to Telangana.
