Popular for accentuating the looks of many Bollywood stars with her impeccable styling and exquisite dresses, Rachel cherishes her tryst with Sushant Singh Rajput. The designer had taken care of the styling for Sushant for a few times, especially during the cover shoot of famous magazines like Filmfare and Vouge. The designer met Sushant way back in 2013 when he was trying to make inroads in the world of glamour and Bollywood. His million-dollar smile and charismatic demeanor could impress anyone and he was cheerful and enthusiastic, he had a positive outlook towards life and his career and looked satisfied the way his career was shaping up. ” He was all praise for my grandfather’s work in Kerala and appreciated me to create a niche in my field, Sushant had said, ” Its always good to go for something exclusive and give all our best to the work we do rather than looking at the world, getting diverted, diversify or getting diluted, remembers Racheal.”I met a handsome young boy who was full of beans and high on confidence”.
Designer further informed the shoot took place in Mumbai and during this shoot of a leading magazine Arjun Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajpoot, Ayushmann Khurrana, Alia Bhatt, and Parineeti Chopra were present too.
“My last meeting with him took place in 2019 and by now he was an established star without starry tantrums. He was at the peak of his career with the best of projects and offers in his kitty. He had acquired everything anyone will yearn to have, name, fame money. But by now he could clearly be seen as a restless person who was not in sync with himself. ” Sushant would talk about outsiders in the film industry. And we discussed how both of us being outsiders to the fashion and film industry could make it big. He felt happy for me and expressed this too. He was apprehensive if he would be welcomed or not among the seniors in the industry as he was an outsider.
He even said that South Indians have dark and dense black hair and asked for tips and I shared a beauty recipe of coconut oil and curry leaves.
As this was a day-long shoot hence we had a lot to discuss, the work, fashion, and career. concluded Rachel
